Football is a team game and it is also known as soccer. In the ancient time this game was only popular in some countries but now it is popular all around the world. Football has being played before 1930 but its first tournament was announced in 1930. Now, the biggest football sports tournament, the FIFA world cup, is held every four year.

A big part of winning or losing in a match depends on the football coach of the team. A true coach is always impartial. A coach teaches a team like a teacher so a football coach must have the following qualities -

1. Good identification skill - A football coach should identify not only those players who are already good at playing, but also those who, with some extra efforts, can be trained to be good at playing. The coach should then devote extra time to those players to raise the standard of their game.

2. Communication skill - A coach should be able to communicate well with the players. He knows how to get the desired output from everyone.

3. Creative and innovative - Everyday new techniques are being introduced in games. A coach should be innovative so that he can understand these techniques easily and can introduce them to the players. If he teaches new things only then can he create interest among players. He should encourage players to fight against competitors and win matches.

4. Be patient - Patience is very necessary in games. This is not only mandatory for players but also for a football coach. He must give credit to the team when the team wins a match. If the team loses, a true coach never blames the players- he is the first one to take responsibility.

All these qualities will work towards the making of a successful and respected football coach.
